Presidents Putter 2024
The Presidents Putter 2024 was played at the Vale da Pinta Golf club with lovely warm summers day. The course was in great condition with true greens and super fairways even with all the dry weather conditions. The field of 24 Golfers with a late morning first tee off time comprised of a good mix of ladies, gents, members and guests. Mr. President, Aurelio put on a fine buffet for all the golfers and their partners back at the bar to complete a very enjoyable event day. The Presidents Putter 2024 - Joe Hiluta with great score of 40 points who is a long standing playing member and a great guy put in a great round to win the members 1st Prize. Sardine Day June 2024
The Al's Bar Cup 2024 was played at Ombria Golf club on a hot summers day. This new course was in great shape with super greens and tight fairways. The field of Golfers with an early morning first tee off time comprised of members and a large contigency of guests. Mr. President, Aurelio with Algarve's one and only Master chef Carlos worked his magic and produced a fine BBq of freshly caught sardines cooked to perfection, for all the golfers and their partners back at the bar to complete a very enjoyable Sardine event day. The Sardine Day Prize Winner 2024 - Alistair Smith with great score of 37 points who is a long regular playing member and a great guy and put in a great round to win the members 1st Prize.
