Albufeira Old Town - Fishermans Beach
Albufeira has always been a very popular destination for tourists to the Algarve There are two main beaches in Albufeira itself - Fishermans beach (Praia dos Pescadores) which is overlooked by a various restaurants and there is always the tempting aroma of barbecued fish in the air. Here it is possible to walk straight onto the beach to enjoy the large beach. Adjoining Fishermans beach is Albufeira beach (Praia do Túnel), slightly to the west through the tunnel of the Sol e Mar Hotel near the tourist office. There are more bars and restaurants here and steps down to the beach. Almost all the beaches in Albufeira have restaurants and bars in which to relax and enjoy a refreshing drink when the sun is bearing down, or sit to enjoy the sunset, with the sun dipping into the sea, Falesia beach is ideal to view a stunning sunset over Albufeira.
Albufeira is internationally famous for its nightlife. The two main areas where partying is the most lively are the in the Old Town and the Strip.

Albufeira Golf - Salgados
The Salgados Golf Course is located near Albufeira to the west, past the Marina towards Gale Beach.
Salgados has been inserted into the Nature Reserve and is home to several species of birds, some endangered, giving golfers a unique experience of golf course integration with nature.
Gale beach is a few meters away and the sea certainly contributes to the very nice experience, enthusiasts of golf, the yellow tees provide a pleasant game. For a more challenging game,

Albufeira Tourist Train
To get to know Albufeira at the start of your holiday why not try the Albufeira tourist train this is a great way for a whistle stop tour of the town! The train runs from Fishermans Beach to the Commercial centre (Modelo shopping center) down the strip to the Forte Do Vale hotel and returns back to Fishermans beach.
