This super beach is best known for the sand, sea, sunsets and the backdrop of incredible tones of the rocks and cliffs.

Albufeira has always been a very popular destination for tourists to the Algarve where Falesia is situated. Rated the worlds best beach Trustpilot 2024, Falesia beach has been awarded the Blue Flag recognition and is rated one of the most scenic, cleanest beaches in southern Europe and boasts sports facilities galore!

For golfing nuts - On the west side of Albufeira is Salgados Golf Course which includes many water hazards. There are also two well kept popular 9-hole courses on the east near Falesia, the Pine Cliffs Golf Course and the Balaia Golf Course. The 6 Vilamoura golf courses are in easy reach from Falesia.

The beautiful cliffs make for an excellent venue for walkers or joggers with spectacular views across the beach. The cliff tops are a blaze of natural colour in the Springtime!

Falesia beach begins in Olhos de Agua with cliffs extending to Vilamoura, a stunning 7km stretch of beach. It is safe to swim and is ideal for taking long uninterrupted walks/jogs from sunrise to sunset for miles on end.

Surrounding areas of Acoteis, Alfamar, Rocha Baixinha Beach, and Varseas do Quarteira are areas of outstanding beauty and is very different just a couple of kilometres inward – almond trees, fig trees, pines and orange-trees sprinkle the landscape of green!

Falesia is a small village with lovely restaurants, coffee shops, bars to suit all tastes, and has cheerful places where families are welcomed which offer great value for money.

Falesia is always bustling in the summer months, but it is a lovely place to wander around in the autumn and winter when the crowds have disappeared! Contrary to popular belief - the Algarve doesn't close down - the bars and restaurants are open, as are the shops!

Sunset at Falesia Beach

One of the greatest beaches to visit in the evening. After a busy day take a visit to the beach on a warm summers evening and relax to watch stunning sunset, with the unique backdrop of the cliffs changing colour as the sun sets - any image of it does not reflect the magnificence of the real time moment.
