The Silves Golf Course has been re-modeled with a new clubhouse, pro shop and car parking facilities. The course has also been changed slightly in that the 1st hole is now the 18th hole and the starting hole is the original 2nd Hole. It is a great upgrade to the original facilities to compliment such a good course which we highly recommend to be played.
The Silves Golf Course is in a tranquil rural setting despite being only a stone's throw away from the historic town of Silves, Portugal. The Silves golf course is not an easy walk, and and a buggy is well worth the extra.
Silves excellent condition all year round, is well worth a visit, even for high handicap players.
Silves Golf Course has been designed to test the golfer's quality in hitting a well directed and precise ball using the correct choice of club.
It is a parkland golf course, and offer a spectacular mountain and valley view, overlooking palm trees, olive groves and small farms.
As a result of many water hazards on the course makes Silves a challenge and a true test of accuracy and course management is a must to achieve a good score.
Accurate driving is also essential to score well making Silves a good examination of skill, especially for low handicap golfers.
