Boavista as the name implies has stunning views from all sides, from over the Bay of Lagos to an impressive backdrop of the Monchique Mountains, and a great test for golfers of all standards.
Overlooking Lagos and the Atlantic Ocean designer Howard Swan sucessfully integrated his layout into the natural terrain to add to the variety of courses across the Algarve.
The first hole slopes away downhill to a generous fairway to ease you in this demanding course.
The par 3 second hole uphill is well protected by bunkers and tress.
The third hole is set to sort you out with a par 5 uphill - bit of a blind shot if you are a long hitter of the
ball to get position to attack the green. The par 3 forth hole is not easy because of a wall
across the fairway to block a bad shot. The par 3 sixth is the signature hole of this course
and requires a good shot to the green as anywhere else is in trouble - probably in the deep ravine! The par 5 eighth hole has super
views along the western Algarve coastline and the fairway is disected by the same ravine as the
sixth hole to add to your wellbeing! The thirteenth par 5 hole has spectacular views over Lagos bay hence the course name Boavista!
This is a golf course with many attributes to fulfill your expectations.
